318i Tech Procedure -
K&N Air Filter Install

What can I say here? My paper filter needed replacement so I decided to replace it with a K&N air filter.

Required tool list:
None!

Click on the thumbnail for larger pictures.

Undo the spring clips that hold the intake muffler top and bottom sections together. Take out the old air filter. Install the K&N air filter. Putting everything back together is much harder. Put the top section back in place. Snap the clips back in place.
